If I had a finger for every time I've heard that "this" is better than "that", I'd look like the flying spaghetti monster. And when someone starts to imply "this" is better as fact, it usually results in some sort of conflict. Which bring me to my point. PS3 vs Xbox 360. See, I went to Best Buy yesterday, (after I saw Zombieland, which will rock your f****** socks!!) looking for nothing in particular. Naturally I go to the video game area, and start playin' around. Gran Turismo for the psp. Great game. Some passerby makes a comment along the lines how the game is great and all, but GT5 is going to suck because its not on the 360. I chuckle and ask him how he figures. His argument was that the PS3 was a gimmick and too expensive as the controller was crap. I told him that those complaints sound like personal gripes, and my question still wasn't answered. (Personally, I enjoy these kind of arguments because 99.99% of the time, the other party is blinded by favoritism and irrationality

) He then goes on about how games like Heavenly sword, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, MGS4, and even Demons Souls have neither depth, nor substance. After another slight chuckle, I ask him to give me an example of a game with "substance". His response? Halo, Call of duty 4, Gears of War 1&2, Forza, Mass Effect, Fable 2 and Oblivion. I told him 2 of those games are multi platform, and the rest can be compared to each other by genre. ( Having played each game mentioned, I could literally pick apart each one and compare their similarities, but I didn't have time for that.) It was at this point that he said one of the most notoriously used words of this generation, and this ridiculous console war. Fanboy. It was also at this point where I told him that I was flattered. He wanted to say something else, (judging by his facial expression, it was probably an insult) but he caught himself and stormed off. A good decision on his part.
Now, in the midst of this console war, I consider myself a mercenary, not taking sides, or saying this is better than that. Of course, some people can't be reasoned with, and I'll leave them be, because anything is say is fuel to the fire.
And finally, while the definition of "fanboy" may be up for debate, there was one definition that made me laugh: "A fanboy is some one who can't afford all 3 systems". True? Maybe not. Funny? Hell yes.

Trigon: Did Arella told you what happen to your father?
Raven: She told me enough. She told me you kill him.
